Bryan was a professional baseball player in the Chicago White Sox organization before being hit with a 90 mile an hour fast ball that blinded him in his left eye and ended his baseball career.
Call to Ministry
Bryan received his call to ministry while studying business at Mount Vernon Nazarene in Ohio, where he also met his wife Lynn. Prompting from God led Bryan and Lynn to transfer to Bible college and eventually get married. After completing their studies, Bryan got licensed as an Assemblies of God Pastor and returned to Reading, Pennsylvania where he and Lynn started their family. After a few years back in Reading, Bryan accepted a job at Glad Tidings Church. In 2013 Bryan, Lynn and their three sons celebrated 25 years of ministry at that same church. Bryan continues to serve as the Lead Pastor of GT Church in Reading, Pennsylvania.
June 7, 2015 – Forward
In the summer of 2015, Bryan experienced something that would change his life forever when he and his wife, Lynn, were hit by a drunk driver, while riding their motorcycle. That accident caused him to lose his wife of 28 years and his left leg. Drawing on his incredible life experiences, Bryan communicates with an authentic, open style that allows him to be transparent and real with people. Most of all, he is able to share about his unwavering faith that has taught him that if God brings you to it, He will bring you through it. In addition to leading a church of over 3,000, Bryan is the co-author of the discipleship book Follow, and is also a frequent conference speaker, specializing in coaching churches in leadership development. However, Bryan’s true passion is helping people become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
